A4AI works on the ground in countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America & the Caribbean. In each country of engagement, we work in close collaboration with national governments — formalising partnerships through official Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) — and build national coalitions comprising representatives from the public, private, and civil society sectors to lead local efforts to advance affordable internet access.
Africa
A4AI works on the ground in Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique and The Gambia working with public, private, and civil society sectors to lead local efforts to advance affordable internet access across these countries. The Ghana, Nigeria, and Mozambique coalitions are led by local coalition leadership and by A4AI’s Regional Head of Africa Onica Makwakwa.
Asia
A4AI works on the ground in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan working with public, private, and civil society sectors to lead local efforts to advance affordable internet access across these countries. The Bangladesh and Myanmar coalitions are led by local coalition leadership and by A4AI’s Regional Head of Asia and Pacific Anju Mangal.
Latin America & The Caribbean
