The A4AI team is hosting an open session on December 10 exploring the findings of the first edition of our annual affordability report at the ICTD conference in Cape Town, South Africa, taking place from 7 – 10 December. The session features two panels: the first focuses on sharing the initial findings of the Affordability Report and exploring next steps for further research, and the second on moving from research to evidence-based policy advocacy. Panelists include several A4AI members from civil society, the private sector and government.
ICTD is the world’s premier conference examining the role of computers and communications in social, economic and political development. ICTD2013 will provide an international forum for scholarly researchers exploring the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in social, political and economic development.
Hosted by the University of Cape Town and the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa, ICTD2013 is the sixth ICTD conference, which occurs every one-and-a-half years.
