The Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) will host its first Mozambican country forum in Maputo on June 19, 2014. The open meeting will bring together a wide range of key stakeholders—including government leaders and representatives from the private and not-for-profit sectors— to debate current policy and regulatory barriers to affordable Internet access, and to discuss best practices for tackling these challenges.

The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS)+10 High-Level Event will take place in Geneva, Switzerland June 10-13. A4AI will be participating in three workshops during the pre-event meetings on June 9.

The 2014 Stockholm Internet Forum (SIF) will take place on May 27-28 in Stockholm, Sweden. SIF and A4AI are co-hosting a panel entitled "Affordable, equal access: how to get the last billion online" on May 27.
